American Blogger Offered Money to Publish Russian Propaganda

An American blogger turned down the offer of a lifetime this past weekend: getting paid to do nothing. The slight catch was that he had to publish articles written by someone else on his blog and claim them as his own—no big deal, right?

According to the blogger, David Swanson, after giving a talk at an anti-war event in Washington DC on March 20, he was approached by a young man with a thick Russian accent who introduced himself as Alexsei G. Padalko.

This man showed Swanson his business card, which identified him as an air attaché assistant for the Russian Embassy in the US. He bought one of Swanson’s books, asked for an autograph, and then offered to buy Swanson a cup of coffee, in order to discuss prospects of working together “in order to achieve peace.”

It's part of Putin's full spectrum Information Operations directed against the US and NATO.

American Commies love the so-called ‘anti-war’ movement. They never tell the Communist to lay down their arms and cease their aggression.

Why would they have to pay, when so many will do it for free. Even on this sight.

Talk about old school. If course they don’t have to dust off Vladimir Posner because the morons at MSNBC willingly spout the Russian talking points without taking the money.

I have a theory that most of the damaging liberal movements in the united states have been funded by the soviets and the Chinese with the purpose of bringing us politically where we are today with a incompetent President and a congress that looks at its own self interest first before what is good for the country and a electric that does not no how to use common sense and reason to decide how to vote in elections.

Why would the Russians have to pay for a blog, when there are plenty of leftist media outlets willing to do that job for free?

The Pacifica radio network (with its handful of stations) has been broadcasting the Communist line for decades. Many “free” newspapers are, in fact, Communist propaganda vessels, as are many college/university publications.

Agitprop is alive and well in the US; no need to pay for more of it.

It is not just the anti-American sentiment of these “anti war peace foundations”. Russian propaganda departments need to able to ghost-publish right things at the right times in coordinated effort for hard hitting campaigns. For example straight after Russians shot down the MH17 airliner they created and published tens of absurd conspiracy theories about it. It was designed to muddy the water and overload people with information so they would deem the topic too complex for them and give up learning about it.

They also sometimes want to hide their own involvement so they ghost publish something in some small place and then refer to it by full force of their RT and SputnikNews propaganda agencies.

Shocking.....a liberal discovers his views lead a propagandist to believe he would be on board with soviet tactics.
