Typical is a recent post by GreyFriar on the FCC turning the Internet into a public utility: “The Democrat version of democracy means three unelected bureaucrats voting for something that none of us is allowed to see.”

They should have mentioned Josh Painter also, who posted the piece “What Is a Conservatarian?” back in 2007, which gave Charles C. W. Cooke the idea for his book The Conservatarian Manifesto, featured in last Sunday’s New York Times Magazine. Cooke gives credit to Free Republic in his book but does not mention Josh Painter or Sturm Ruger.
