Good for her. If diabetes ran in my family, I would take extra precautions to avoid getting diabetes myself later on.
She is wise to eliminate the risks that could kill her.
But she is a hypocrite. I've watched her in an interview with that bearded weirdo, where she felt she could be more honest, and she revealed what a total slut she was. I believe she used the actual term "nymphomaniac" to describe her proclivities.
If she was really averse to true risk, she would renounce her former, and probably present, risky lifestyle, which probably includes a slew of risky hormone-laden "birth control" drugs.
