She has the finances to deal with things, and be constantly screened.
What about the people who don’t?
Where’s their lauditory writ in the papers?
And I doubt she thought it through.
She will now suffer an immediate drop in estrogen, and must now do hormone replacement immediately or else.
And even with HRT, she will have medical issues from that.
Not to mention certain cancers that come about from a decrease in certain hormones.

how conservative is it to denigrate someone who does have the resources to do this, for doing so, by complaining that not everyone has the financial capability. not very. she is raising the awareness of these diseases and if women who wouldn’t otherwise, hear this and at the very least schedule an overdue mammogram or pap smear then it will be to the good. I am not a particular fan of her, pretty much pay little attention to Hollywood types, but the criticisms of her choice in this matter strike me as just petty and meanspirited for no reason.
