But since there is a slice of Iowans who are against pandering to the farm economy, and since only a few politicians are bold enough to tap into this - this is a wide open opportunity.
Ethanol is an entire industry and numerous subsidues are given to farmers. These subsidies employ many people in various companies that make and transport the ethanol. Not to mention the local corrupt GOPe politicians.
