If your wife was, as you say, a “lifelong globalist insider” and you were elected President of the U.S., would you let her set your policy for you? Or are you your own man?
Either way - You should read up on her. It’s possible you may have misjudged her.
Me, personally, I am an ideological nightmare. So, I'd probably not marry someone counter to my beliefs. But, my beliefs have certainly evolved over time. I was certainly once far more establishment minded. Possible for anyone to evolve.
