Lately, conservative pundits like Glenn Beck and Hugh Hewitt have been questioning why America seems so apathetic about ISIS. Beck says Americans don’t realize how serious Islamic terrorism has become; we are on the verge of World War III.

Got to remember also that ISIS KNOWS that Americans are ARMED to the teeth with sales of guns having gone up in the last couple of years.

Though we’ve (the average person) had to adjust to giving up some civil liberties or having them constricted post 9/11 - all for good (national) security reasons. Besides, having ‘terrorist attack alerts’ going up every so often in western countries is not exactly a comforting thought. Doubtful any amount of ISIS killing muslims in some faraway lands is going to change that.
Most libs are too stupid or illiterate to pick out Canada on a map. The ones who can read are just obsessed with bumper sticker politics- “Coexist”, “Free Tibet”, “99%”, “Go Green”....
Consider that ISIS has manpads like Stingers.
Then consider the relative ease things can be smuggled in from Mexico into the US.
Then consider how easy it would be for an ISIS operative to park a car in a parking lot or a highway near the end of a runway at a commercial airport, and shoot down a jet with a manpad as it takes off.
Now imagine a day where there are 20 or 30 ISIS people, at different airports with manpads, shooting down several planes within a 10 minute window.
That would probably be the day when air travel essentially ends in the US.
What are “manpads” ? Are they something for the knees? Thank-you for your response.
I guess what the liberals don’t understand about a situation where Muslims have introduced total chaos, and rule of law breaks down, is that when people start fighting back, some will consider it merely a target rich environment, and liberals will be in the crosshairs as well as Muslims.
That is, when they run out of available Christians and other minorities.
Man-portable air-defense systems, like the SA-18 Grouse or Stinger.
What will get their attention is a Beslan-style attack on an American school. One armed nutjob can enter one of these "gun-free zones" and take out dozens. Imagine what a team of terrorists will do...
It's most unfortunate that something like THAT will be needed to make Americans face the cruel reality of this very real threat.

I’m not dismissing them just realistically assessing the situation. The worthless POS in the white house won’t move against them so the only thing I can salvage from it is dead muslims
It’s not that we don’t care about ISIS, it’s that we don’t trust our President with the lives of our sons, husbands, brothers and sisters. We do not want that commander in chief putting any of our citizens in harm’s way. . .We Remember Benghazi.

Iranian Regime (apart from being a sponsor of terrorism in its 35 yrs so far in power) is purely protecting its own interests against ISIS. Just as the Americans did in Iraq (Saddam), Afghanistan (Taliban), Libya (Qaddafi). Keywords are “own interests”. That sort of alliance (joining) is always & strictly temporary, all around.

On that note, Iranian Regime feared Bush administration (at least for a while); but continues to have a distinct mistrust of Obama administration.
My assessment is: not because Obama is appeasing terrorists (ISIS included) to stop further execution of Westerners; but because Obama administration, and Obama himself, since just before he was elected, have been perceived, by the Iranian Regime, as being inexperienced, yet underhanded.
