Netanyahu Will Make History [Israel]
The New York Times ^ | Wednesday, March 18, 2015 | Staff

Posted on 03/21/2015 2:37:21 PM PDT by Star Traveler

Well, it’s pretty clear now: Benjamin Netanyahu is going to be a major figure in Israeli history — not because he’s heading to become the longest-serving Israeli prime minister, but because he’s heading to be the most impactful. Having won the Israeli elections — in part by declaring that he will never permit a two state-solution between Israelis and Palestinians — it means Netanyahu will be the fatherr of the one-state solution. And the one-state solution means that Israel will become, in time, either a non-Jewish democracy or Jewish non-democracy.

The biggest losers in all of this, besides all the Israelis who did not vote for Netanyahu, are American Jews and non-Jews who support Israel. What Bibi did to win this election was move the Likud Party from a center-right party to a far-right one. The additional votes he got were all grabbed from the other far-right parties — not from the center. When the official government of Israel is a far-right party that rejects a two-state solution and employs anti-Arab dog whistles to get elected, it will split the basic unity of the American Jewish community on Israel. How many American Jews want to defend a one-state solution in Washington or on their college campuses? Is Aipac, the Israel lobby, now going to push for a one-state solution on Capitol Hill? How many Democrats and Republicans would endorse that?

This is just an OUTRIGHT LIE! The fact of the matter is that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it VERY CLEAR that he is NOT for a ONE-STATE SOLUTION ... and that he still backs a TWO-STATE SOLUTION just like he has from the time Obama first came into office with his Bar-Ilan speech. Netanyahu has reconfirmed his support for a Two-State Solution after the election, too and says he has not changed from his Bar-Ilan speech!

This whole article is BASED ON A LIE about Netanyahu!

One should keep in mind that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not abandoned his commitment to a TWO-STATE SOLUTION, as he outlined in his Bar-Ilan speech, right after Obama became Presidemt.

Netanyahu has been on the news in the days after the election re-affirming his support for a Two-State Solution per this Bar-Ilan speech.

As for me, I’ve been a very long time supporter of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, going back to the Clinton Days. I support Netanyahu 100% in his policies and actions!

So, the NYT is admitting US voters opposed to Obola are the biggest losers in the US.

This is true, the bastard certainly does not have our interests in mind.

Which ever MOB runs Israel is still a MOB...

Democracy was, is, always will be Mob Rule by mobsters..
Rule by an elite.. of the people NOT by the people..
Except by “certain” people.. groups, cabal(s) or Junta’s..

Like America run by democrats.. or the UK, France, Germany and ALL European countrys..
including Russia, China, India, all of South/Central America AND Canada..

The America Constitution was created EXACTLY for the purpose of harnessing this political masturbation.. (democracy)
And Limiting Federal scope and power... for NO OTHER REASON..

Was Written Down and Codified/chartered for exactly this purpose..
THATS WHY?... democrats MUST defeat the American Constitution..

HELLO!....... And DID.. Politically Israeli’s are IDIOTS..

<<< in part by declaring that he will never permit a two state-solution between Israelis and Palestinians >>>

That’s not what Bibi said and the Slimes knows it. He said there cannot be a two state solution so long as the Palestinians (Hamas) vow to destroy Israel. Would America live peacefully with Canada if the Canadian government vowed to destroy us and lobbed missiles south on a regular basis?

The old media knows that it cannot fool everyone all the time.

Now it hopes to fool enough people enough of the time to stay in power.

Netanyahu should say he is supportive of a 2 state solution and would be willing to work with the Palestinians, but the deal is off once the first rocket is fired into Israel from the Palestines, Hamas or Hizbullah, then they can suck lemons.

Basically telling the world (AGAIN!!!) that the decision is up to the Palestinians and they can determine their own future.

I would think a matter of days, those Palestinian animals would screw it up chanting "Death to Israel" but then in the same breath crying victim to the media over what they falsely claim being bullied by Israel...

Somebody please explain to me why the Arabs/Palestinians deserve a two-state solution. They were granted their own state in 1947 which they chose to abandon. They have cast their lot with groups that have VOWED to destroy Israel (thereby setting up a Palestinian one-state solution). They have never ceased their constant conventional warfare and terrorist attacks on Israel. They have never bargained in good faith, nor have they ever lived up to their part in any peace negotiations. Israel has ceded land in the hope of peace numerous time, and paid the price for it. If I was Israeli, I would demand that Palestinians take a generation or two to PROVE that they can be peaceful, otherwise, forget it.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that his TWO-STATE SOLUTION, based on his Bar-Ilan speech in 2009 is still in effect and has not been abandoned. In other words, he has not changed his position since 2009.

Now since 2009, there have been a lot of rockets shot into Israel from Hamas (and others) in Gaza. Since 2009, that has not stopped any negotiations. It won’t stop any ngotiations now, either.

Hamas has said many times that they will not negotiate with Israel, and Israel has said they won’t negotiate with Hamas. They’ve not been negotiating! SO ... “exactly who” is negotiating. It’s the Palestinian Authority” and Israel.

NOW ... note ... the Palestinian Authority has never shot any rockets into Israel. Hamas, on the other hand, has, from Gaza. Hamas took over Gaza and kicked the Palestinian Auhority out. So, it’s Hamas doing the shooting of rockets, but Hamas and Israel don’t negotiate anyway.

It’s the Palestinian Authority who negotiates with Israel, and they don’t shoot rockets into Israel.

I hope this explains it ... :-) ...

I don’t know why they “deserve” this. I can only tell you what Israel and the Palestinian Authority have “agreed to” over twenty years, from the Oslo Accords, and all the subsequent agreements, and all the Israeli governments for the last 20 years and all the Prime Ministers of Israel for the last 20 years, not to say anything about the majority of the zisraeli public.

That’s really all you can do ... Is go by what the two parties (Israel and the Palestinian Authority) have agreed to, between themselves, for the last 20 years.

As to how much longer this will take to complete ... I would say it’s coming to a close in probably less than five years maximum.

I totally agree.

There will not be a “two-state solution” because the other “state” has only one goal - to destroy Israel off the face of the earth.

Who, in their right mind, would enter into negotiations with such a group of people. that is exactly what Netanyahu said on Megyn Kelly’s program.

And, this is why Obama is so agitated - I guess he really thought Netanyahu was stupid - which is how Obama also looks at all Americans.

If the PA & Hamas agree to recognize the right of the state of Israel to exist and the right of the Jews to live in their homeland, and this is signed in blood, then BAMMO! the Palis get their state.

But we know that’ll never happen, don’t we? (sly grin)
