Obama Uses Weekly Address To Push Loretta Lynch Vote, Says It’s ‘Purely About Politics’

President Obama and Democrats are losing patience with the Republican-controlled Senate's refusal to bring his attorney general nominee up for a vote, using interviews, social media and now the president's weekly address to express their mounting frustration.
The president on Saturday morning reiterated comments he made in an interview with the Huffington Post that Loretta Lynch, who was nominated in early November, is qualified and deserves a yes-or-no vote on her confirmation.
"Republicans promised that Congress would function smoothly with them in charge," Obama said in his weekly address. "Here’s a small chance for them to prove it. Congress should stop playing politics with law enforcement and national security."

Obama has played politics on Keystone, on spending and on Israel.
And he appeals to bi-partisanship?

How many Republicans have said they are voting for Lynch? Orrin Hatch, and perhaps Susan Collins? They need four Republicans to support her for the nomination to be confirmed.
The liberals have said that the administration is still studying the Keystone pipeline, in spite of Obama’s veto.
I’ve been confused all along on this. They have been studying this pipeline for many years. We won World War II in less time than it takes to study a proposed pipeline project. What the heck???
Sure, like all those times you gave Bush's nominees a "yes-or-no vote" on their confirmation, right President Obama? It would certainly be news to Miguel Estrada.
They need four Republicans to support her for the nomination to succeed. 4 GOP positive votes would bring it to a 50-50 tie vote in the Senate, and then Joe Biden would cast the tie breaking vote in favor. Is the GOP unified enough on this to reject her? We’ll soon see.
Question is, if Lynch is rejected, will Obama nominate anyone more reasonable? Or still try to force a radical liberal through???
His little speech is probably all it will take for Bonehead Boehner and Pinky McConnell to approve his AG candidate with a majority of Republicans.

Hillary already said something about the delay on the vote on Lynch’s nomination being part of the war on women.
Lynch is a racist. If she were white, she would not have been nominated by the Putz In Chief.
