There Is No Fatwa Condemning Nuclear Weapons by Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei
PJ Media ^ | 3-16-2015 | Andrew McCarthy

The Obama administration may not have much use for federal law or for Congress’s constitutional role in providing advice on, determining whether to consent to, and enacting any legislation necessary to implement international agreements. But it exhibits cloying reverence for a fatwa — a sharia law edict — issued by a jurist who runs a regime that is the world’s leading state sponsor of jihadist terror.

Even when the fatwa is a patent hoax.

Secretary of State Kerry, like his predecessor Hillary Clinton and his boss President Obama, took time out from his tirades against Senate Republicans’ exposition of the Constitution to praise the fatwa the administration claims that Iran’s top mullah, Ayatollah Khamenei, issued against nuclear weapons. As the Weekly Standard’s Jeryl Bier reports, Kerry, in the course of addressing the administration’s negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program, told the press during a visit to Egypt:

Obama’s address to the Iranians [video & transcript]
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/03/19/obama_addresses_iran_we_have_to_speak_up_for_the_future_we_seek.html

As I have said many times before, I believe that our countries should be able to resolve this issue peacefully, with diplomacy. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons, and President Rouhani has said that Iran would never develop a nuclear weapon. Together with the international community, the United States has said that Iran should have access to peaceful nuclear energy, consistent with Iran’s international obligations. So there is a way for Iran—if it is willing to take meaningful, verifiable steps—to assure the world that its nuclear program is, in fact, for peaceful purposes only.

If it was peaceful they never would have built a heavy water reactor AND a graphite reactor in addition to breeder reactors. It is only necessary to have all three types of reactors to have the nessessary components of hydrogen bombs.
Without hydrogen bombs, the warheads are too big to put on intercontential missiles.

It has always been about nuking America from day one.

No Fatwah against nukes? Well in respect of their religous government, we should air mail them a dozen.

yep...

Rush was covering the non-existent fatwa today.

He made the point that if a Khamenei fatwa exists, why is there a need to conduct talks with Iran in order to get a deal to insure they don’t produce nuclear weapons. LOL

This rumor of a fatwa has gone on for several years. No one had been able to produce it. No scholar believes it exists.

Intercontinental missiles...

Reposting a post of mine:

I heard an interview (Mar 9, 2015] on the Batchelor Show in which these two Iranian missile systems were mentioned.

http://johnbatchelorshow.com/podcasts/mon-3915-hr-2-jbs-thaddeus-mccotter-wjr-david-drucker-washington-examinercom-bill-whalen
[begins at min 19-—interview about 10 min]

I did some research and discovered that these have received virtually NO mention in the US press or on FR.

Iran refuses to allow their missile systems to be part of the P5+1 negotiations-—and Obama bows in compliance. Below, Netanyahu made this point also (even before the new Iran long-range missile announcement, which Netanyahu no doubt already knew about).

Nevertheless, the interviewee on the Batchelor Show said the Club K container missile could be the bigger threat to the US.
~~~~~~~~~~
“Iran has demonstrated the capability to launch a missile off a freighter. Iran has also purchased Russia’s Club-K missile system. The Club-K is a complete missile launch system, disguised to look like a shipping container, that could convert any freighter into a missile launch platform. The Club-K, if armed with a nuclear warhead, could be used to execute an EMP attack.”
Google “iran club k containerized missile,” for background articles published during the 2010-2011 timeframe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There has been a virtual US media blackout on these above reports (from Feb & Mar 2015).

Netanyahu gave his speech to Congress on Mar 3, 2015.

Although Netanyahu mentioned Iran’s cruise missile systems twice, note that Iran’s long-range missile was not announced until March 8:

“So when it comes to Iran and ISIS, the enemy of your enemy is your enemy. The difference is that ISIS is armed with butcher knives, captured weapons and YouTube, whereas Iran could soon be armed with intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear bombs. We must always remember — I’ll say it one more time — the greatest dangers facing our world is the marriage of militant Islam with nuclear weapons. To defeat ISIS and let Iran get nuclear weapons would be to win the battle, but lose the war. We can’t let that happen.”

AND

“The foremost sponsor of global terrorism could be weeks away from having enough enriched uranium for an entire arsenal of nuclear weapons and this with full international legitimacy.

And by the way, if Iran’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile program is not part of the deal, and so far, Iran refuses to even put it on the negotiating table. Well, Iran could have the means to deliver that nuclear arsenal to the far-reach corners of the earth, including to every part of the United States. “

3-19-2015

The issue of a nuclear EMP attack was raised in the final hours of this week’s elections in Israel when U.S. authority Peter Vincent Pry penned a column for Arutz Sheva warning of Iran’s threat to free nations.

“Iranian military documents describe such a scenario — including a recently translated Iranian military textbook that endorses nuclear EMP attack against the United States,” he wrote.

A knowledgable source said that the textbook discusses an EMP attack on America in 20 different places.

Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks, who is leading an effort to protect the U.S. electric grid from an EMP attack, has recently made similar claims based on the document translated by military authorities.

That’s another thing radical Islamists and Dems have in common.

The Dems’ religion allows and encourages Dems to practice taquiyya also.
