My cousin lives in Philly, I live in South San Francisco. My dad grew up in Philly. A couple decades ago when visiting Philly I asked her if I could see the neighborhood where my dad grew up (he passed almost 50 years ago). She said you can't go there. Well, I was driving around in Philly and took a wrong turn, got lost, and found myself in mile after mile of burned out ghetto land with many punk blacks roaming around. I was in terrible fear for my wife and kids until I got out of that hellhole. We don't have ghettos like that in California; ours are like middle class suburbs compared to east coast ghettos.
