Captain Clark better spend more time woooonnndddeeeriing about the motive. Heck, the 14 and 15 year old men are full of hate, and not under anyone’s control. They were looking to murder someone.
Of course, the black police chief cannot imagine a possible motive for 3 blacks to kill a white ... golly, it wasn’t robbery because they didn’t take anything ... what one earth could it have been????

As a matter of fact, we were running up and down those stairs at the museum just like Rocky did in the movie, just before getting lost driving away from behind that structure - straight into a ghetto. Philly is not like SF. SF is cosmopolitan mixed race everywhere (except few blacks). My shock about Philly is how it's all white, or all black in different areas with little mixing. My cousin lives in an all white area, but her son and his wife and kids can't afford much and are in a mostly black neighborhood. I wish he would get out. My dad left upon returning as a soldier after WWII; he moved to SF because it was where he shipped out to the war against Japan in the Pacific, and it looked much better than Philly.

Unfortunately, our SCOTUS overlords have determined that shall be done no longer. These predators passed on one potential victim and attacked the next because he was older and had a “weak” looking dog. This is behavior at the level of a leopard or a cougar. It really IS a jungle out there, and you have to have the means to effectively defend yourself!
