This is the lesson the Dems have drawn from their mid-term shellackings of 2010 and 2014.
Not that they are off on the wrong track, not that they need to re-connect with the voters on issues that really matter to them.
It’s just that they aren’t getting enough of their gimmedats off the couch and out to the polls when there’s not the hoopla of a TMZ celebrity at the top of the ticket.
Forcing them to show proof of voting to get an Obamaphone or food stamps should fix the problem.
They don’t need to change a thing they were doing, they certainly don’t have any opposition in Congress. This is that “bi-partisanship” they’ve always wanted-the other party agreeing to everything on the left’s agenda.
