I think that was offered after the USA Civil War, and there were very few takers.
Their problem is that they are taken seriously - as a physical threat (by all people, including blacks themselves). The country is working double-time to drive them to extinction with contraception and abortion, trafficking others here to replace them, and too many of them do nothing but convince those who would destroy them to move faster.

My great grandfather fought with the Union Army in the Civil War and I figure that his service more than wipes out any of my reparations for slavery.

of course, just as i wouldn’t pay wages for the employees of a competing business, i won’t pay wages for the slaves of other people.
similarly, as i wouldn’t pay wages to someone not in my employ, i would never pay wages to someone that was never a slave.

It’s not a question of reparations. Blacks actually owe whites a debt a gratitude for freeing them. Those evil slavers were defeated.

No. I never owned slaves. The South was totally destroyed during the war. 750, 000 men lost their lives in the war, and possibly 100,000s of thousand of Southern civilians. There were about 3 million slaves in the South at the time.
I don’t. My ancestors were still in Germany and Ireland during the times of slavery. There was plenty of discrimination against Irish immigrants though, does that mean that anyone should pay me?
Reparations is Bulloney. Just race baiters trying to keep themselves relevant. If they really want to go back in history, maybe they could include the Slave Traders and the Africans who captured other tribes and sold them to the Slave traders.
