The recognition of Israel as a Jewish State is not important, because a country defends itself regardless of what any other country “thinks”about it.
What Netanyahu has outlined before, in the way of security measures which are required for Israel are much more important than getting someone to agree on the “demographic makeup” of one’s country.
The security issues matter ... what another country “thinks” about you doesn’t matter.
