Speaking of impeachment, you'll recall that Clinton was impeached halfway through his second term.

He was exonerated because 100% of the Democratic Caucus, including two senators who let it be known they thought him guilty of perjury (Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and "Exalted Cyclops" Robert Byrd of W. Va.), voted to acquit on the facts presented. They were joined by iirc six Republicans, including the feeble Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine and some other "Gang of 14" limp-wristers.

But that's a pretty good bumper sticker. Stolen!

Ten Republicans voted Clinton not guilty of perjury and five Republicans voted not guilty of obstruction of justice. The votes were 45-55 on perjury and 50-50 on obstruction.

Thanks for your reply. Couldn't read .PDF docs since my Android device has limited storage for Acrobat Reader etc. and .PDF files. Saw the genealogy of Obama descending from the Bunch family .... writer was an African, doubtful he would do anything but burn incense before Obama's herm. I didn't see any comments about Stanley Ann's daddy, who I have always suspected was KGB. Too bad Ancestry.com doesn't do KGB-illegal-sniffing. </snark>
