It is not good to undermine the president's authority to conduct foreign policy.

Byron York is usually sensible. But I don't know what he's talking about here. It's not good to undermine the authority of a man whose behavior is indistinguishable from that of an enemy in the process of destroying our country? It would be a crime to fail to do so.

I can see no down side to this. The Constitution was set up to create this if one branch took too much power. The more that they fight and obstruct each other, the less that gets done, and the less that we who pay for it all and are affected by it all are affected.

Now, if one of the branches would only stifle the supreme court=?

Notice that I did not capitalize supreme court, just as the Constitution did not capitalize those words.

"Obama has shown contempt for Congress' constitutional powers..."

Methinks 'contempt' doesn't adequately cover it, Byron. How about "utter disregard"?

"It's safe to say that no president in modern times has had his legitimacy questioned by the opposition party as much as Barack Obama..."

The ridiculousness of this statement requires no comment. However, I would ask: What legitimacy?
