They self segregate then complain that they are being excluded?
That's my thinking. Those elements who go for off-the-wall names, clothes with African colors, embracing an alien religion, making up a black-only religious holiday, creating and joining organizations with "Black" in the title, ad nauseum. Then if a speaker refers to them as "You people" (in the audience) they get all huffy and complain you're singling them out.
I sometimes wonder about those blacks and whites who got clubbed, dog-bit and shot at fighting segregation feel when they see, as you say. self-segregation become the norm.
