All day long CNN has been relentlessly beating the drum and practically celebrating the forgone conclusion that sitting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was about to lose todays elections. Every move Netanyahu made over the past few weeks that outraged Obama and his media allies was framed by CNN today as a blunder from the speech he made before Congress to sounding the alarm today about Israeli Leftists busing Arabs to the polls.
CNN was quite obviously setting up a Narrative to explain and gloat over what polls said was almost certain to be a Netanyahu defeat.
A funny thing happened at 4 pm ET when the exit polls from Israel came in. Netanyahu was tied or slightly ahead. An hour later news reports suggested Netanyahu had already cobbled together enough allies from other parties to form a governing coalition. This means he will remain Prime Minister. This is why he took to Twitter to declare victory.
By 6pm, the biggest story in the world, and one of the biggest electoral upsets in recent memory, was no longer the biggest story on CNN. Despite all the domestic and international ramifications of Netanyahus almost certain victory, despite all the backfilling CNN had done all day to explain Netanyahus defeat, Netanyahus upset did not lead CNNs 6 pm hour with Wolf Blitzer. Netanyahu giving his victory speech did not lead the 7 pm hour with Erin Burnett.
At 6 pm and 7pm, CNN decided that the story of the night was a single Air Force veteran trying to join ISIS.
At around 7:10 pm, Burnett finally decided it was time to talk about the Israeli elections, and when she did she read a chyron that read, Is Netanyahu About to Lose? Not Too Close to Call. Not Bibi Upset Victory?

They’ve been doing Men Seeking Men interviews when I’ve tuned past them tonight - with the sound muted.
CNN has got less viewers than MSNBC do.
cnn’s tears taste delicious.
No joy in Obamaville tonight, apparently. Smirk.
The Obama water-carriers are crying in their beer.
A lot of those CNN people are so dumb that they believe their own propaganda.
Also Boehner.....while the Turtle has withdrawn into his shell.
“Theyve been doing Men Seeking Men interviews when Ive tuned past them tonight - with the sound muted.”
Was it Wolf or Amenpour seeking?
cnn looks real good with that broke off in their ass.
I’m feasting on a plate of schadenfreud myself.
And relishing at the thought of the bitter pills that our Dear Leader must be swallowing right now.
Appearing on CNNs The Lead on Tuesday afternoon, chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Likud Party and right-wing allies for having a sort-of racist police towards Arabs that has been very scary for them as the world awaited results from the national elections in Israel.
The commie libs realize that this is a serious setback for their Iranian pals getting a nuke.
Eff ‘em.
As normal DNCNN is on the same side as Iran.
Pray America is waking
Here is a !((terror))! story for you about Christiane Amanpour. She could have been a family member of mine!
My son is a documentary film director and was making a documentary film about land mines and Christiane Amanpour was in that film. My son was single and she thought he was perfect for her sister, soooo, Christiane's sister called my son. Luckily, he already had a serious girl friend.
When my son told me this, I thought, “No, no, no! Not liberal Amanpour! I'd have to be nice to her in my house - no, no, no!” Now that is a terror story.
Another last-second surprise at the goal line, eh, CNN? Seattle Seahawks fans feel your pain.
I’ve seen enough of Obama to know he probably spent at least a few minutes with a nasty pout. He does not like to be thwarted.
When Obama doesn’t get his way, it shows on his face. He gets this very “elitist” look, he lifts his chin, and he starts to push people around, often by putting his hands on them. He’s a controller, and he and his Iranian mistress wannabe think they have the world sewn up.
But nobody puts Bibi in the corner...
I’ve been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, drinking beer and eating the best corn beef and cabbage ever made. I have one more thing to celebrate: the victory of Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party’s capture of 30 seats.
