His Word is clear: The death penalty for murderers is one of God's fundamental moral laws. Putting murderers to death is the only law to appear in all five books of the Torah. Jesus' death on the cross and His resurrection freed me from the laws of the Torah. I live under a new covenant, and obey those laws He reiterated, I could never be good enough to merit His grace, so He gave it to me freely. Thank you Lord Jesus
