Best to throw/mix rotting wood into a compost pile, after breaking it up into smaller pieces with a shovel. It would just infect the mulch and spread disease to any plant material.

Yes & yes. Been watching off and on for first time today.
Like watching paint dry....until...you see her move and see the eggs and watch her resettle herself over the eggs-—like right now!!!!
When does she eat? Haven’t seen the male (as depicted in the photo)...if he is still sharing egg-hatching responsibilities.
He should be hunting for food for her, but since it’s getting dark, and they don’t fly at night, he’s probably parked somewhere until daylight.
A few minutes ago, Mark started talking about things that would be coming out about Obama’s background after he left office. He started listing some of Obama’s puzzling stances, and I thought he was going to suggest that Obama was a Muslim, but he did not.
