Accusing Livni and Herzog as being liars for calling off rotation deal at the last minute, Netanyahu says the pair are running scared.
Joining his fellow Likud MKs in disparaging Tzipi Livni's announcement that she was giving up her rotation agreement with Zionist Union co-chair Yitzhak Herzog, was Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu himself.
Right-wing politicians, a number of them from the Likud, took no time in expressing their ire at the announcement, particularly the fact it took place the night before elections.
Netanyahu was similarly accusatory, telling Channel Two that Livni and Herzog are in a panic over the narrowing gap (in the polls) between Likud and Labor.
"This just proves how necessary it is to close that gap and win," the Prime Minister stressed.
"Two things are evident: the first is that they are lying - either that they lied before or they're lying now. The second thing - they are unable to handle the pressure."
"If they can't withstand the pressure of the polls, how will they be able to handle international pressure?" Netanyahu pondered.

Zionist Union was created by Obama Dec 2014 and Livni and Herzog just found out what Obama wants
Actually, what it does is make the Zionist Union more acceptable to a larger group of voters. It solidifies it.
Of course, Netanyahu was attempting to solidify his position, too ... when he announced he was no longer going to permit a Palestinian State to exist ... a remarkable change in his previous stance ... when he said he would go anywhere at any time to form a Palestinian State.
Both sides have announced these things in the last few hours! It looks like both sides are trying to solidify their stance and attract more voters.
Israeli political parties change like some people change TV channels ... LOL ...
Zionist Union Party

It is the combination of two former and existing parties in Israel. The Arab parties did the same thing ... :-) ...
The article said ... “Right-wing politicians, a number of them from the Likud, took no time in expressing their ire at the announcement, particularly the fact it took place the night before elections.”

The reason why they are upset is that it will attract more voters by dropping Tzipi Livni from being Prime Minister, and it makes it more possible for the ZU to be able to form a government. This is REALLY BAD NEWS for Likud and Netanyahu ... and you can see that from their anger.

Netanyahu is correct - these clowns can’t handle the pressure of possible defeat.
How they can handle pressure from Obama and the EU?
Israel’s independence is far too important to be entrusted into the hands of amateur politicians.
This is a fateful election for the State Of Israel and the Jewish people.
Bibi knows how to fight, that’s for gosh-sakes sure.
Go wash your mouth out with soap.
Technically it’s just an electoral alliance, a joint ticket. The parties remain seperate entities.
Tipsy Livini’s party “Hatnuah” translates as “The Movement”, “the bowel movement”?
