This may the first time ever that I’ve agreed with Pitts. Not on the Maher thing specifically (although I agree with that too) but on the larger point he was making that it’s entirely possible to not like personally someone you agree with on everything if the person is just an unlikable person, for example, an arrogant, condescending, puffed up, self righteous jerk. Also, it’s easily possible to like someone very much who disagrees with you on most things if they are a likable person of character. The fact so many libs can’t conceive of such a thing is what gets me seeing jack boots and Gestapo hats coming at me in my dreams.

That "character" thing disqualifies most liberals-socialists-progressives-communists-Marxists (but, I repeat myself).
