Vive La Révolution!!!! (Rare conservative win / GOP establishment loss!)
Original Material | 3/14/2015 | By Laz A. Mataz

Today, the GOP Establishment control of the GOP machinery was overturned.

Here is my 'back from the trenches' description of what happened today, in DeKalb County, Georgia. In summary, Populist GOP Conservatives have seized control of the local GOP machinery.

Here's how it worked: A local Freeper who shall remain nameless invited me and quite a few other like-minded people to the Delegate Selection process meeting sometime last month. We all signed up as delegates. There was no competition, by signing up, we became delegates to a person. Other conservative-minded activists must have done the same thing. I do not know that definitively, but the results speak for themselves:

Today was the election of all of the local GOP party county representatives, namely: The GOP County Chair, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, and 3rd Vice Chair; Treasurer, and Secretary.

It was a total sweep. The true-conservative candidates all won. The establishment candidates all lost. To my eye, the establishment folks all looked a little stunned. Establishment hand-picked and Establishment-endorsed candidates who spent money, were summarily defeated. The populist conservative guys and gals -- who spent next to nothing -- handily creamed them.

We even sent a nice hearty 'middle finger' to Johnny Isakson, the GOP establishment Senator from GA: Johnny has a long tradition of speaking at these engagements. Today, when the vote came up to make room for him, our populist district chair made a motion that instead of us stopping when he got here, he speak at the end .. when the business we were THERE for, was conducted. (As an aside, we ran out of time anyways, and would have been completely messed up if he had given his usual stemwinder). The motion carried by a good margin. Johnny was told this, and he refused to come after all. The rationale was "We don't want to interrupt your business," but I am personally confident that he had a short, two word, eight-letter phrase that was what ACTUALLY came out of his mouth, and the second word would have been 'them'. LOL

I'm glad it happened that way. First of all, we *did* run out of time. Secondly, Johnny Isakson is on notice: The DeKalb County GOP has been captured by conservatives. This is one of the most liberal counties in Alanta, so this is quite a win.

Vive La Révolution!!!! Liberté, égalité, fraternité!

2 psychiatrists meet on the street and one says, “You’re fine. How am I?”

That was a joke.

Please add me to your Ping List.

That wasn’t.

Thanks for the good news, Laz. Good job!

We are all itching to accomplish something, anything, to help save our country.

With the good weather just ahead, I hope there can be a Freeper inspired event in DC, that maybe many thousands of good patriotic folks can come to and be heard.

This is a state were you have welfare, hands in the treasury other ways and tons of government over employment welfare by at least 1000%.

Like Greece I do not see the takers finding shame or a desire to do the right thing for the country. They want to ride a plate of hand outs all the way to the grave even if they take the country with it and that is the current state of our country led by hell holes like California.

I have a lemon tree in front of a home out here in CA. Never would lemons get stolen from my tree. As the state went more liberal my tree became far more accessed and bare. This is a reflection of everything in this state IMO.

Thanks for the momentum. I am tired of our local government ruling party. Time for change.

Don’t think for one minute, that they won’t simply come back in numbers, and try to take back control.

Don’t count your chickens yet. Look for them to go to the state officials to change the rules and put their folks in anyway.

Or better yet, put a sign at the bottom of the tree saying beware of the poisons.

The dems tried that in Louisiana when they were the dominant party. Step one - agree on a single republican candidate. Step 2 - get a bunch of folks to split the dem vote. A radical vegan environmentalist against a black militant against a feminist - throw in a couple of flavors of Mexican. It’s a bit expensive on the front end, but it makes sure the republican is the leader going into the runoff. And by that point, the trailing dems have been demonized by the leader of their ilk to the point they won’t back the leading dem.

Eventually, the money was pulled, and the republicans won.

Way to be!

This is exactly what needs to be done by all those so-called conservative “third party” Obama enablers.

BUT NO!

They’ll just do nothing, stay home from the polls, and whine about the RINOs.
