Remember the media outrage when the Reagens bought new China for the White House?I remember them making a big to-do over Nancy's designer gowns, as well. Turned out she'd just borrowed the gowns from the designers, like movie stars do at the Academy Awards.
Ah, the good old days when we worried about things like that!
