I'm having a hard time staying awake past 7 pm,
which is crazy cause before the time change
it would only be 6 pm.

And FRiday the 13th is a good day; met my husband 27 years ago on a FRiday the 13th.

Snoe Paw was 14 dog years old.

That's a ripe old age for a dog.

I remember when one of our dogs died. As a grown man, I cried like a baby :-(

Ha, as a grown woman I've cried over losing 4 pets.
And I still feel a cry coming on when I remember it.

Once I get my Mom settled in an electric wheelchair (I hope)...I take her for a test drive tomorrow, then I will call and get the particulars for my cataract surgery so I can make a plan.

Getting ready in a few hours to drive to Walla Walla (just love the way that word rolls of the tongue :-)) for my 1 week follow-up eye appt. Vision is doing great, it's so nice to see well again!

Tomorrow I'm helping my Ex with some yard work as it seems we have an early Spring here.

And of course still plenty of time for being lazy too.

Good Morning, Canteeners!

I only have a partial ping list this morning, so I’m getting this out as fast as I can.

Starting tomorrow, The Bride and I are embarking on a week-long journey into the Middle Ages at Gulf Wars in Mississippi!

This is one of the biggest re-enactor events of the year, with jousting, feasting, crafting, pub sings and revels - and we’re going to see it all. Well, except for me: these old bones are not going on the field...

There will be lots of pics taken, and there might even be Web access out there - if there is, spot reports will come.

We’ll see y’all in a week or so!
