You can go to H3ll. I have a low tolerance for idiots who think they are smart. You are just a waste of time.

How, then, do you manage to put up with yourself? Project much?

Such peevishness. Perhaps that's on account of the schooling I gave you on the last thread:

*Your "authorities" for your Vattel position are mysteriously absent from the Congressional debates on the Civil Rights Act and 14th Amendment as to the state of the "existing law:"

Your "authorities" for your Vattel position are, in the main, mysteriously absent from the discussion and opinions from the SCOTUS in the seminal and chief case on birth citizenship;

*Your argument that Horace Gray ignored or misread the legislative history to the C.R.A. and 14th Amendment lies in shambles after I've shown where Sen. Trumbull (author of the citizenship clause of the C.R.A.) and Sen. Howard (author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment) both espouse a jus soli view of "existing alw," and your appeal to Cong. Wilson, House Judiciaary Chair, was ridiculous given he cites at length to Blackstone. And the "no subject to any foreign power" language some use, when read properly in context, refers either to foreign ministers or Indians. Get a clue.

*Your last question to me about why the 14th Amendment was enacted evinced such a profound historical ignorance I'm surprised you even keep on this topic.

*And you still have no idea how to answer to this, which I've only laid out before you about a dozen times now: the fact that the Founders and Framers were steeped in Blackstone and the ECL, together with the document prior interchangeable usage of "natural born subject" and "natural born citizen," makes it near impossible to argue that the Framers intended as to "NBC" a meaning different from the well-known jus soli meaning of "NBS," in the absence of discussion by them that is what they were doing.

Oh, and, yes, Ankeny is simply a direct application of Wong Kim Ark, as I've shown. You don't get that, because you're slow on the uptake.

Of course I'm not worth your time; you get spanked every time you venture into this topic with me.

But posture as you will. You avoid the hard questions and points at most every turn. These words once said of another poster fit you well:

I've noticed something about you. When I hammer you with a fact, you just ignore it. The fact that you ignore it tells me that you realize you are getting your ass handed to you on a particular point.

* * *
You end up with a cognitive disconnect because you just can't deal with facts that completely contradict what you wish to believe. Your response?

Ignore difficulties, and hope they go away.

Your own words highlight your own incompetence. It's most amusing.
