I had a case of IMI M193, then I tipped the boat over. Damn.
Seriously, for an old guy in need of cataract surgery, I suspect WPA Military Classic is probably sufficient. Never had a problem with it. Punches a nice hole in regular steel.
I’m waiting for them to ban Russian & Ukraine 7.62x39. Leaving us to the expensive brass stuff.
“Im waiting for them to ban Russian & Ukraine 7.62x39. Leaving us to the expensive brass stuff.”
FedGov already did ban the import of Russian made AK’s and ammo —last year. Obama signed the order in another example of executive fiat. This time supposedly as a means of “punishing” the Russians for their military take over of the Crimea.
However, I expect the other shoe to drop on the cheap (Wolf), ammo coming out of the Ukraine. Nothing is beneath these bastards when it comes to trying to strangle the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans. At some point Obama’s henchman will want to cut off the Ukrainian ammo and will use the excuse of “political instability” there to do so.
In terms of iron core stuff that was banned long ago. The eurotrash stuff that you see now is lead core or similar. The test is whether the bullet is magnetic. The copper washed steel cases make it necessary to be careful when you check a round.
