Breitbart.com ^ | March 10, 2015 | Jeffrey Poor

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean took aim at Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who took the lead on a letter to the leadership to Iran that warns the regime that any nuclear deal made with the Obama administration and not approved by the Congress faces the risk of not being honored by future administrations.

Keep talkin’, Howie. Every time he opens his mouth he does us a favor. He just elevated Senator Cotton’s status.

Congress did indeed act extra-Constitutionally in sending the letter to Iran, IMHO. However, what is the appropriate response to a president that announces he has “a pen and a phone” and will work around congress if he sees an advantage in doing so?

In other breaking news, somebody still listens to MSNBC and Howard Dean.

Cotton’s letter was great. But, if anything, he pulled his punches. Cotton did no even deal with the reasons why OZero isn’t even a legitimate president. More than six years on, we STILL don’t have any evidence to suggest the Kenyan Usurper was born on U.S. soil or is an American citizen.

Quoting the Constitution is now treason?

[The President]shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;

They are simply reminding the world that no treaty with the US is binding, until the Senate ratifies it.

My thought exactly. Come out in the open. Admit it. You want us all dead. Let’s go round and round as we say in Oklahoma.

This is all political theater. Like Iran is going to abide by ANY deal at all anyway.

This is ‘90s North Korea redux.

Funny how no one can question their motives, yet they call the GOP treasonous for no reason besides disagreement.

Recall the Democrats’ agitation against Bush in Iraq.

I’m drawing a blank on the Congressmen who went to Iraq.

As a private citizen I can send a letter like that. Whether or not it gets delivered is problematical but I could send it. Why should Congress have any less of a right?
