Once again the specter of race has reared it ugly head displaying five undeniable truths: 1) blacks love to be victims; 2) whites, regardless of their intentions or motivations, will always be accused of harboring deep-seated prejudice toward blacks; 3) only blacks, Hispanics, homosexuals and Muslims are permitted to be proud of what they are; 4) whites do not enjoy freedom of speech unless it is politically correct and liberal; and 5) numbers 1 through 4 are always true.

At some point, I guess there were many black airmen running around with some type of "Black to the Future" or "Black Pride" shirts. IIRC, the base commander at the time ordered all shirts of that nature banned from the base.
His reasoning and logic was that if they didn't want white guys running around with shirts saying "White Pride" and "White to the Future", then the same would apply across the board for all races/ethnicities.

Recently ran across a website for Mongol history. Turns out today's Mongols are immensely proud of Genghis Khan, despite (or perhaps because of) he and his immediate descendants having killed a larger percentage of the world's population than any other group in history - 10 to 15%. Mongol expansion was of course based on a religious and racial ideology of Mongol superiority.
But I bet they get zero complaints from leftists. Only whites aren't allowed to be proud of being what they are.
Not than I am. One should take pride in individual accomplishments, not those of a group you were born into.
Yes, after two or three generations of being told by Leftist agitators that they have a grievance, that they are "victims," a large percentage of American Negroes have been systematically alienated from the traditional White culture. Yes, after two generations of being insulted in corrupted institutions of "higher education," many American Whites have been conditioned against displaying the normal pride that people take in their own lines of descent & unique heritages.
These attitudes, both Black & White, are aberrations, produced by what one might describe as an Academic/Media Complex. The antidote is better understanding the dynamics involved. (See Compassion Or Compulsion?.)
None of the "truths" the writer refers to have any normal connection to any race. Each reflects an enormous effort by crack-pot fantasy seekers, to focus on what is at best propaganda; at worst, a persistent application of the technique of the oft-repeated "Big Lie," used so effectively in the last century by the Bolshevik & Nazi variations of Marxist agitation.

To the leftist, a Hispanic is from Mexico/Central/South America. Even thought European Spanish settled those areas, "white" Europeans are guilty of subjugating the natives and the "hispanics" are part of the noble downtrodden, which "whites" have used and trampled on for centuries.
Human achievement--whether racial, tribal or familial, is a multi-generational process. Why on earth do you express a problem--or the need to make a vital distinction between pride in personal achievement, and pride in the achievement of your people? Both varieties of such pride are constructive.
Why does the Bible couple honoring one's parents with being long in the land? Obviously, the concept is relevant to the point. Why did the Founding Fathers specifically refer to their "posterity" (i.e. descendants) in the Preamble to the Constitution.
All of us; all races, nations, tribes & even families, today, are under attack by ideologically driven seekers of uniformity; many of whom openly seek new world orders that will promote what is today euphemistically described as "politically correct." It is important that those of us who would preserve what is unique to each of us, clearly recognize the myriad of particular ways that we benefit from a particular ancestry.
Nonsense. Leftists could give a flying you-know-what, they just want warm bodies to overwhelm the system and crash capitalism. I really do think it’s as simple as that, and all the identity politics just makes possible a divide and conquer strategy.
