Sorry, I'm not interested in excuses for bad decisions where conservative policy positions are concerned. I'm interested in fidelity to conservative policy positions and the willingness and ability to communicate the correct policy position and educate voters as to why it is better than the incorrect non-conservative policy position.

Cruz provides this type of Leadership, Walker, on the other hand, seems to punt on important and tough issues. I don't know why, he seems capable enough, but way too often he is changing his positions and walking away from leadership fights.

Walker does politics like great generals do war. There are times for charging the hill and times when you want to let someone else do it, then “lead from behind”. Knowing that Right To Work was the HOT issue with unions, Walker masterfully put the legislature in the lead, making his role a fait accompli after they passed the bill

You people who like to tear every candidate down over small insignificant shifts in position or political maneuvering - I ask you, other than playing mind games, what doe it accomplish? Walker has been through a baptism by fire. He wasn't perfect when he started, and he's not perfect yet. But he's a heck of a lot better than all the Dems combined, and certainly standing out in front of the Republican herd. And he is getting better every day.
