Sixth suspect in death of Boris Nemtsov dies in suicide explosion

GROZNY, Russia, March 8 (UPI) — The sixth suspect in last month’s killing of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov committed suicide by blowing himself up as police surrounded his apartment in the North Caucasus on Saturday.

Beslan Shavanov, 30, {link:attempted to escape: “http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/07/europe/russia-nemtsov-murder-arrest/?iid=ob_article_organicsidebar_expansion&iref=obnetwork”,nw} his Grozny apartment by tossing a grenade at officers. He then blew himself up, according to Russian media.

Yes, Sherlock Holmes just might be a bit suspicious, here.

If one wanted the world to think that a bad person was "liquidated", when he was not, one might consider staging a fake suicide, in which one turns an unfortunate substitute into unrecognizable hamburger.

3. The Impaler

Why would anyone name their son after any of them?

I knew some Cuban men in Havana named Vladimir. I suspected that their daddies hailed from Severmorsk or Sevastopol.
