By which time Miller will be almost 65 (in May 2019), a bit past her prime to be running for a Senate career. Weve seen how bad its been running older candidates for freshman terms (such as Tommy Thompson, running 14 years too late in 2012 when he couldve taken out a weak freshman, Russ Feingold in 1998). << The Tommy Thompson comparison is a good example. At his peak popularity as Governor, he would have been the ideal candidate and taken out Senator Slimemold. But by running when he was long past his prime and old news, he managed to lose to some extreme lezbo marxist.
I had high hopes that Miller would have sought a Senate seat a decade ago, when she was Michigan Secretary of State. She would have been the perfect choice at the time. But now her window of opportunity seems to have passed and we need to look elsewhere for new blood in 2016.

Actually, 2018 (which is when Stabenow’s seat is up).
