Agreed...but no one is guaranteed this spot. Walker has to earn it, and Cruz has every right to contend, too. Hopefully most of each group of followers will support their guy...but be realistic as the race develops. If Walker proves himself and has a sustained lead over Cruz...at some point Cruz needs to get out and support the Walker. The same if Cruz enters and takes the mantle proving his electability and campaign organization. I like both...and would be more excited to vote for either than any candidate at the top of the ticket. What we can’t have is 2-3 conservatives splitting the vote much past the FL primary IA, NH, SC, and FL need to shake out the field and we need to solidify behind the best man to win over Jeb.
Absolutely. And even more important if a conservative is dragging ass in the cellar...they need to get out early and throw support behind one of the other conservatives. If Walker all of the sudden tanks in the polls or shows he can’t win an early primary...he needs to get out and throw support behind a conservative.
I think that’s a true sign of the politician...if they lose and back someone like Jeb we know they are RINOs and only in it for power.
