That’s pretty wild, I’ve not heard of it before. Especially interesting to read in wikipedia that there was a standard amount of compensation that was adjusted up and down based on the social status of the victim. And that wergild for women varied from half that of a man to double.
I agree but unfortunately no matter what, she wasn’t going to get the death penalty even though she is an evil murderer..there are people who look at her and go “Awwwwwwwwww she is just too pretty for death row” I bet if she were a hag she would have been sentenced to death on the 1st try

She doesn’t appear to have had one beyond the fact that he dumped her/cheated/used her, whatever-there was no money, property, legal doings involved-only emotional crap, and she apparently just threw a tantrum, went there and killed him in the shower. She really doesn’t fit the word “evil” to me-not smart enough, for one thing-I think she is just crazier than a s***house rat...
