If I were Patraeus, at this point I'd withdraw my plea and see what develops.
We now have two Cabinet officials, CIA and State, both entrusted with top secrets, both with security violations. Patreaus' is minor, Clinton's is massive.
I'd demand equal treatment under the law.

If I were Patraeus, at this point I'd withdraw my plea and see what develops. Nope. While this is still hanging over Patraeus, Obama has leverage. Under the plea deal, Patraeus plead guilty to a misdemeanor. The Obama administration was threatening him with felonies.
Best to let the misdemeanor conviction become final and then go to the press.
