Whenever a scandal with the capacity to deal serious damage to the White House’s credibility arises, you can be sure that the administration only just learned about it in the same way you did: Reading about it in the papers.
It’s become clear that you can measure the potential political danger that any one controversy poses to the White House by administration officials’ willingness to feign ignorance and betrayal. It seems that the scandalous revelation that Hillary Clinton constructed her own unsecure email system that she used exclusively as secretary of state has joined the pantheon of controversies of which the White House had no foreknowledge.
“The White House counsel’s office was not aware at the time Hillary Rodham Clinton was secretary of state that she relied solely on personal email and only found out as part of the congressional investigation into the Benghazi attack, according to a person familiar with the matter,” The Associated Press reported on Thursday.
The AP indicated that the White House believes Clinton was operating as a rogue agent, flagrantly disregarding administration “guidance” (which, presumably, consisted entirely of advising her to follow the law) and striking out on her own by using only an unsecured email network.
So, are White House officials arguing that they never once engaged in an email exchange with Clinton via her private account? No, they’re not. White House Press Sec. Josh Earnest conceded recently that they had corresponded with Clinton via this account, but that the administration was completely unaware that she did not even have access to a .gov address. While that strains credulity, it’s their story, and they’re sticking to it.

No one is more disappointed in this than the President. He’s gonna pivot and focus like a laser on it, to be sure.
Did obama and Clinton ever email each other?
If so then obama knew all about the hidden email.
Hillary’s aides emailed Obama for her, on the .Gov server and she controlled the message. Deception, fraud, lying. Yeah, this is the kind of person democrats can get behind

Most email clients nowadays hide all the headers. All you see is “From: Hillary Clinton”. If you reply, you see “To: Hillary Clinton”. Most computer users are so naive today, they don’t know what a domain or an IP is.
Horsecr@p, they were obviously emailing her on her personal email. No way in he!! they didn’t know, they’re complicit.

They don’t have to ‘feign’ ignorance. By now, everyone is convinced that it’s completely genuine.
“After six years, we the WHITE HOUSE learned of the functioning of the US Department of State by reading about the papers.”
I think not even Nazis in the Nuremberg Trials could have gotten out something like that without laughing.
So what are they really saying here? That Hillary Clinton NEVER once sent an email to the White House during her tenure? Because surely, someone would have seen the header information and would have known that it didn't come from a State Department server domain.
Furthermore, if Clinton had sent emails to Obama, does this mean that the White House email servers have NO filters against unrecognized outside emails? Or else someone would have had to approve Hillary's outside email to get through.

Surely at least one of Zer0’s aides received e-mails from Hillary’s private account. . . key individuals like Rahm Emmanuel or David Axelrod or Valerie Jarrett.
Anyone in the administration who received such a private e-mail message from her and did not call it to the attention of a superior is at least guilty of conspiracy to circumvent the law.
They found out about it on TV like the rest of us peons. :-)
This begs a question. Did all the AMAMBs worldwide have their own personal (Read: Anonymous accounts) that they used to communicate with SECSTATE? I can’t see how a personal account with a .com can get through the .gov or .mil firewalls. If I were Trey Gowdy I would subpoena all AMAMB emails from 2009 to present and investigate if the AMAMB communicated with SECSTATE via personal accounts. This could turn out to be a HUGE breach of security and absolute violation of the law requiring jail time. Oh I forgot this is a Clinton. A slap on the wrist will be just fine.
That's an interesting and prevaricating way to put it.
As Secretary of State she absolutely DID have access to a .gov email account. She could (and should) have used a .gov email account for State business. She CHOSE not to.
