Bush v. Webb
March 5, 2014 | Vanity

Posted on 03/05/2015 7:12:24 AM PST by yetidog

I have seen several stories speculating on Hillary’s replacement if the email story is fatal to her presumed nomination. Elizabeth Warren, Martin O’Malley and even the horrible Algore have all been mentioned. Little has been said about the already announced Jim Webb, war hero, man-for-all seasons and perhaps one of the last “conventional” Democrats. But if the GOP nominates Jeb Bush and Webb somehow secures the Democratic nomination, who would you go with? I would probably go with a protest third party candidate (if viable).

“After having lived through two terms of Lil’Marty, that’s quite enough.”

For me, too.

I will not vote for Jeb Bush. Period. I don’t care about his opponent. A Jeb nomination is a loss.

So is Huckster, Crispe Creme, Kasich and many others.

“Hitlery is to the right of the current center of the Party of Satan.”

Not true at all. She is at least as marxist as Dear Leader! Both are Alynskyites!

The email fracas would not damage Mrs. Bill unless it is the Democrats trying to get her out of the way of someone more purely Communist which appears to be the case. If it is the case then revelations will continue until she is finally toast. Actually no amount of drek coming out will hurt her until unless things come out during the primaries.

The “battleground” states in 2016 will be effectively solid Democrat. That is where the Sultan is moving the bulk of the new Democrats he is bringing into the country to.

The Republican Party is not viable. I guess you will have to vote Democrat.

Most people have not really heard about Jim Webb but he has been quietly putting together an organization to help him if he decides to run for the Democratic nomination.

IMO all this stuff rolling out on a daily basis agains’t Hillary is the Democrat party dumping her so Liz Warren, Jim Webb and/or Bernie Sanders can run.

Dear CSM,

Properly speaking, Hitlery is a corporatist, which is the economic program of fascism. She is perfectly happy allowing the appearance of a free, capitalist economy that is actually controlled by government and the largest moneyed-interests. You would be hard-pressed to determine where, say, Goldman Sachs ends and the Department of the Treasury begins. Or vice versa. Hitlery - and Bill - are quite at home in this world. It is the real world of the “one-percenteers.”

The Kenyan anti-Christ may or may not be more of a true Marxist, but frankly, I don't know that he's smart enough to tell the difference, rightly, between ordinary, straight-up socialism and fascism/corporatism. As long as the end is control by the elites, I think the anti-Christ is happy.

But even the anti-Christ is a little bit of right of center of the Party of Satan. If you want to get to the center of the modern Party of Satan, look to Fauxchohantas E. Warren. Although she's happy to feed at the corporatist trough (having made a good income protecting insurance companies from big claims), she hasn't participated in the systematic plunder of the corpse of a formerly-free economy like the Clintons, nor helped bring into creation far-reaching fascist programs like Obamacare. She'd nationalize the banks, given half a chance. And I suspect that most of the POS base would cheer her on.

As for being Alinskyites, one doesn't need to be a doctrinaire socialist or communist to use Alinskyite methods. This is something that we're starting to learn on the right. See: James O'Keefe.

Amen.

The GOP today exists to block conservatives, not represent them.

I am not voting for a liberal in an R jersey.

No more cheap labor importers.

For the Republic to survive, the GOP must die.

The problem with your third party nonsense is that ALL, AND THEN SOME of the Democrats vote for their candidate. As much as I don’t like Jeb Bush, I’ll be daamned if I would do anything to keep a Republican out or help a Democrat get in that office. Too many Republicans played the “I’m personally offended role” in the last two elections and look what it got us...Obama...thanks and I hope that you are personally fulfilled....PATHETIC !!!

The democrats here would choose the democrat.

Nothing like replacing Obama with another democrat administration to keep in place as much of his efforts as possible, and help them build for the future.

>> one of the last “conventional” Democrats. <<

Pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-amnesty... he's a "conventional" Democrat, definitely. But he's certainly not "one of the last". He was right at home with his fellow traitors in the Senate that wanted to "fundamentally transform" America.

Any "freeper" who would support the likes of Webb over a Republican should be zotted. Period. Take it to DU. No wonder George Allen lost when so many idiots on "our side" are pimping the opposition's candidates. I wouldn't be surprised if the "freepers" expressing support for candidates like Webb, Alison Grimes, Greg Orman, etc., are really just concern trolls from the left who created an account on FR to sow discord and elect liberals.

Many here on FR would stay home. FR has helped us put a D in the White House.

AMEN.....but they feel so much better because they didn't vote for what THEY call a RINO.

Since that won’t be the case, I’d most likely just stay home....(for the first time ever)

Well that'll help for sure...NONE of the Democrats will stay home...PATHETIC.

Jim Webb? You mean the racist, marxist, piece of garbage that writes incestuous kiddie porn? I’d vote for any Republican over that excrement.

You left off "insane". The guy is certifiably nuts. Think about all the cr*p the Dems said about Goldwater being crazy in the '64 election ... it all applies, legitimately, to Webb.

Earn my vote and you get my vote. Jeb gives us amnesty, common core, no appeal of obamacare and profligate spending.

How is that much different than a Hillary presidency?

" I would probably go with a protest third party candidate (if viable)."

Viable or not, I will vote for the person who most closely echos my views. Look, if you don't vote for the person representing your views, your views will never be known and you will have wasted your vote.

I voted for McCain. I voted for Romney.

I have GOT to stop doing this sometime. If Jeb is on the ticket, I’ll likely vote Libertarian. I’ve had ENOUGH of this....
