He’s on light duty since his left pinky finger was smashed with a sledgehammer at work. The day before that he was awarded a commendation and the “Silver Wrench Award.” The docs put a pin in the knuckle, and he’s currently in a cast.

Yes, thank God we still have the young people of character that choose to serve.
It’s been many years since I’ve worn the uniform, too.

Good for you....I keep trying to turn the thermostat down to 74 or so, but then my Mom says she is cold. For Christmas I gave her a blankie for her lap, but she wants the heat “up a notch”.
I did turn the downstairs down to 70, but she can’t go down there without me.

Wednesday is the day we cut checks...all corrections MUST be made NO LATER THAN 1PM. I am under the gun until then, and then for a couple hours after that.
Wednesday is intense....every Wednesday.

If I open all the windows, there is a nice cross breeze.
During the summer, I set the A/C to 82...and compared to the outside, it’s perfectly lovely! :-)

Right eye only, left eye is clear. It’s a 3 1/2 hour drive, so the VA is putting me and my escort up in a hotel 2 nights.
