House committee to subpoena e-mails from Clinton’s personal account

A House investigative committee is preparing to send out subpoenas later Wednesday to gather a deeper look into former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton’s nearly exclusive use of personal e-mails to do her official business as the government’s top diplomat, according to people familiar with the probe.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi, which first discovered Clinton’s use of a personal e-mail based on a home server in its inquiry into a fatal 2012 terrorist attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, is asking for all e-mails related to the attack from all Clintonemail.com accounts and any other staff members’ personal accounts.

The subpoenas are expected to go out to the State Department later Wednesday. The move escalates the panel’s conflict with Clinton and could complicate her expected run for president.

House committees have been subpoenaing information for six years but whatever becomes of it? The Republicans just talk, posture, and talk some more but they never do anything constructive. The bark a lot but there’s no bite.

Its a good thing Republicans are in control of the House and Senate. /sarc

Let me get this straight. Gowdy wants subpeona emails but has said
NOTHING about calling Hillary in to testify under oath?

What is wrong with this picture?

I will tell you.

The GOP is afraid of Hillary because she is female
(And she still has those FBI files)
as much as they are afraid of Obama because he is black.
This will amount to zero!

Actually, it boggles the mind how bad the Republican Party is. Seriously, is it possible to get any worse? Lets hope they have hit rock bottom in their quest to establish themselves as champions of defeatism. Its really amazing to watch such a complete implosion quite frankly.

Yes.

They already funded amnesty.

They can pass a law that allows 1 million HB1 visas a year, guaranteeing that our college kids can’t get a decent job.

They can fund 100% of Obamacare on a permanent basis, through legislation.

And I believe they will. The Chamber of Commerce and rich donors demand it.

You know Cankles Clinton is going to say the emails were unfortunately destroyed. Why not subpoena the people who received her emails or sent her emails? They would have the same emails on their servers.

The only problem would be identifying who those recipients/senders are, but a smart investigator could come up with a list of the most likely ones pretty easily.

“House committees have been subpoenaing information for six years but whatever becomes of it?”

Whatever becomes of it? Good grief. “What becomes of it” is they never GOT any information. Seven House committees on Benghazi got stiffed.

Now comes Trey Gowdy with a Special Committee who uncovered this mendacious fact that Shifty Clinton had not only one private email account, but more— historically, all of them out of reach of any and all committees and their investigations.

You can not shine while being kept in the dark, my friend.

Are you serious? It was Gowdy who elicited this closet email from the State Department.

Trey Gowdy, from start to finish, has said no one was exempt from testimony and that he would need to hear from the Secretary of State at the appropriate time. He intends to pick the time.

How about when she announces her candidacy?
