Blacks were disproportionately more likely to be cited for minor infractions: 95% of tickets for “manner of walking in roadway,” essentially jaywalking, were against African-Americans. Also, 94% of all “failure to comply” charges were filed against black people.

There is a world of difference between white and black jaywalking. Most white jaywalkers will wait until the traffic clears and then dash across the street. But most black jaywalkers will saunter on out, moseying along at their own slow pace, and not worry one bit about the cars having to swerve or slam on their brakes.

And I have an idea on reducing the overwhelming disparity on "failure to comply." How 'bout this: stop failing to comply!

Of course we all know that it’s a few agitators, AND the media, who are behind all this predicted gloom and doom.

I still say, if the cameras were turned off, and $harpt0n stayed home, this would be much ado about nothing.

Grand jury found no charges, Feds have ruled out racism/hate, so the only thing left other than the Pic ‘n’ Pay has been restocked, is those trying to re-live their 15 minutes of fame.

AS for being targeted, most of these citations are written because like Mike Brown they SET themselves up to be a target, its all part of putting it to the Man.

And yet, no charges are formally presented to a court of law. No specific people are indicted. The police department isn’t shut down. The police chief hasn’t been removed.
