Using the behavior of animals as proof that certain behaviors are natural for humans is absurd. If one type of behavior (same sex “mating”) is proof that it is normal for humans, then you must be consistent and accept other behaviors in the animal kingdom. A dog will eat its own vomit-does that mean it’s acceptable and healthy for humans to do the same? Primates groom each other and eat the lice/bugs that they pick off-totally normal for people to do the same?
Obviously those who use the animal kingdom to prove that sodomy is “natural” do not follow that philosophy to its logical conclusion. Sodomy advocates who do this should be forced to be consistent in their views, they can’t use examples of animals to prove their point then turn around and borrow our worldview to say that we aren’t animals and some animal behavior isn’t healthy for humans.
Well, I guess you don't use the Bible when it compares the good and bad in animals in comparison to humans. Frankly we learn a lot of good and bad things from animals, and I agree with Carson on this one. Homosexuals try to use the tactic of animal comparison as well, but their reasoning is flawed in there way of observing animals. Carson's is not.
