A woman who threw a shoe at Hillary Rodham Clinton during a speech the former secretary of state made in Las Vegas last April has been sentenced to one year of federal supervision in her home state of Arizona, her defense attorney said Tuesday.
Alison Michelle Ernst, 37, of Phoenix, also was sentenced Monday to undergo mental health treatment at the discretion of probation officials, said William Carrico, the deputy federal public defender who handled her case.
U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge George Foley Jr. told Ernst to have no contact with Clinton or anyone protected by the Secret Service.

“has been sentenced to one year of federal supervision”
I get the idea we all are under Federal supervision. we should be so lucky to get only one year.
She should be given the Congressional Gold Medal for her acfions; that Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of the RINOs do not consider giving her one should reveal their intentions.
LOL! That’s just what I was going to write, give this girl a medal.

Yup.
--Some treacherous old French proverb
I wouldn’t have thrown a shoe; I would have thrown one of my socks... I guarantee she wouldn’t forget that smell.
Neither would the entire room.
just kidding. sorry. :)
Clear case of a court that can chew gum and walk at the same time, bound by "the jaw" and did the least amount of damage to a woman that did something .... the court liked and agreed with ....
just that she got caught and charged
The idiot that actually wrote up the charge eats alone
Put that shoe on Ebay! She could retire.
Had someone from the Loony Left thrown a shoe at Sarah Palin, it would be defended as “performance art” and ruled as Constitutionally-protected political free speech
My sole question is this...
What can we do to make this brave woman's one year at home incarceration as comfortable and memorable as possible?
Has there been a fund set up to make that possible?
I would like to contribute.
Another case/situation involving a ‘judge’. I’ll bet the woman involved never had any choice as to whether this person was qualified to be a judge. It is difficult to take that this lady was ‘judged’ by her peers.
Here’s a pic of the incident

Too bad it wasn’t a hockey skate.
So THAT’S why she had that expression. I’ve seen it before and I didn’t know what it was about.
How much time did they give the guy who threw a shoe at Presidentt Bush?
Oh wait, the democrats all sniggered and backslapped themselves over that
LOL!!!! Maybe in Canada, eh?
