I think the Records Act is the tip of the iceberg. What was the content of those emails - in and out? Was any of the information classifiable? Petraeus privately sharing handwritten notebooks with classified information seen by an individual who may have had a security clearance, perhaps not for all the information potentially seen - but which went no further, was prosecuted to a plea deal.
Here, the information was electronically transmitted outside of a secure system - and hacked with some already made public. What more will the hacker release? Or otherwise get to the wrong people and result in real damage.

Seriously, the President has sold out to Muslims. He's cutting deals to ensure that Iran, a proven terrorist nation, gets the bomb. It's ok though, we all know that you can negotiate in good faith with terrorists and expect them to keep their word. Meanwhile we have a flood of illegal immigrants flowing though our borders and certainly there are terrorists among them. Those law breakers will be rewarded with tax refunds for taxes that they didn't file and then they will be able to vote for welfare and hand outs. Who really cares if they never learn our language and have American values. They will vote for Democrats the rest of their lives. That is no big deal. Fags and transgenders have taken over the military. Who really cares about the IRS effectively shuttering conservative organizations? Benghazi, wasn't that a crime drama in the 1970's that came on after McMillian and Wife? Then there is the destruction of the health care. And that's not all. There's the FCC, unelected commissioners, unilaterally taking over the Internet and imposing taxes. There's the BATFE banning ammo that was legal one day and illegal the next day, just because they hate black guts. There are racists all over the place. The President is a racist. The attorney general is a racist. The Congressional Black Caucus is racist. On top of that the labor participation rate is at a 35 year low. 40 million people are on food stamps. Kids get sent to 'special' schools if they punch a bully in the face. They get suspended if they make the shape of a gun with their hands. An entire generation is being indoctrinated. After socialism and communism has proven to be failures, our kids are taught that it is the solution to all our problems. A pedophile, so-called prophet named Muhammad is held in esteem and his followers are infallible.
Emails? something as trivial as emails? It doesn't matter. It can't. If it really did then Republicans, especially the leadership including Boehner and McConnell would be doing something about it.
