Obama needs real answers to Netanyahu’s arguments
Washington Post ^ | Washington Post Editorial Board

Netanyahu’s arguments deserve a serious response from the Obama administration — one it has yet to provide. The White House has sought to dismiss the Israeli leader as a politician seeking reelection; has said that he was wrong in his support for the Iraq war and in his opposition to an interim agreement with Iran; and has claimed that he offers no alternative to President Obama’s policy. Such rhetoric will not satisfy those in and out of Congress who share Mr. Netanyahu’s legitimate questions.

His speech singled out “two major concessions” he said would be part of any deal the United States and its partners conclude with Iran. The first is the acceptance of a large Iranian nuclear infrastructure, including thousands of centrifuges for uranium enrichment. The second is a time limit on any restrictions, so that in as little as a decade Iran would be free to expand its production of nuclear materials. Consequently, Mr. Netanyahu said, the deal “doesn’t block Iran’s path to the bomb; it paves Iran’s path to the bomb.”

Since when did Obama ever have REAL answers? His 2008 campaign up to now has had no REAL answers.

Obama isn’t interested in REAL answers. Obama is only interested in a POLITICAL AGENDA that he is already committed to: socialism and “fundamentally changing” the free constitutional republic of America.

1) Obama wants to give Iran the money to build the bomb.

2) Netanyahu screwed things up with his appearance.

Obama wants Iran to be a nuclear counterbalance to Israel because, despite his lip-service, he thinks Israel is a bad country.

The belief that Israel is a bad country is a basic tenant of the new radical left.

The news here is that this article is written by the Post editorial board. The President is going to have to do a furious rhetorical dance to get his kneejerk supporters back in sync.

0bama’s little tirade immediately following the presentation by PM Netanyahu to Congress just substantiates the adolescent that 0bama is.

Netanyahu’s arguments deserve a serious response from the Obama administration — one it has yet to provide.

And yet since when has any response from the Obama administration been 'serious'?

The standard modus operandi has always been to mix phony strawman arguments with designed lies and demagoguery.

Expecting that to change while the Obamunist is in charge would be foolish.

The second is a time limit on any restrictions, so that in as little as a decade Iran would be free to expand its production of nuclear materials.

It seems the Iranians have already told Kerry NO
to this part of the deal.

If it wasn’t so tragic it would be laughable.

The little dog Toto has pulled the curtain open on the Great and Mighty Wizard. And Dorothy called him a “very bad man.”

Our petulant bamster will just put the deal with Iran on the fast track (ht: Rush). It's the second grade way of getting what he wants. The m effing monster will not let himself be upstaged or out debated.

I saw a cartoon this morning that showed the bamster negotiating with a mullah. It went something like this:

First frame: Bamster: Will you promise not to keep enriching Uranium? Ans: NO.
Second frame: Will you promise not to build a nuclear weapon? NO.
Third frame: Will you promise you will eventually promise not to build a nuclear weapon? No.
Fourth frame: Bamster offering his hand to mullah: Deal.

I'm just so happy we stayed home and stopped Romney.......

I’m so through with this. Those disgusting Republicans who will do whatever it takes to defend Israel enable and finance the invasion of the US. The US is more important than Israel, but the Republican ptb in DC don’t think so.
