The Madison, WI newspaper columnist had the following sensible response to the complaining letter writer:

Dear Kate: To be fair, Gov. Walker also hires male spokespeople like Cullen Werwie and Tom Evenson. Of course, they're young and attractive too — and good luck fighting the tendency to make good-looking people the face of an organization. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, Kate, but sex sells. That may not reflect well on our shallow, hormone-driven species, but it's certainly not something you can blame on Scott Walker. A quick survey shows that both Democratic and Republican governors in neighboring states also employ attractive young spokespeople.

Pretty women make Democrat women jealous and angry.

Feminism is not only about diminishing men and all things male, but denigrating attractive and accomplished women.

Scott Walker picks beautiful young women to be the spokespeople

We need photos in order to evaluate this claim.

In case you see Bill Clinton shadowing the Walker campaign now you know the reason.

Response: I think that it’s kind of sexist you focused on the looks of his campaign spokespeople. And also very personally insulting to these women, that you assumed they have their jobs because of their looks.

Well, to be fair, he only had conservative women to choose from, so I can see why the Democrats could get the wrong idea.

While I’m not a Walker fan, it is true that the true beauties in Wisconsin are women from outside the Isthmus who are strikingly stunning in appearance, intellectually analytical, and pleasantly conservative to be around, unlike the feral liberal women who reside in the 30 square miles surrounded by reality, and who have rock-throwing ogrish she-devil mommas that dwell in the catacombs of the UW campus.

This is the problem in a nutshell.

Any questions?

“I can’t help noticing that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker picks beautiful young women to be the spokespeople for his administration and his campaigns.”

MAYBE it’s just that conservative minded women are usually fit and attractive.

On Twitter they were joking that the real news about Clinton’s email will be Walker’s reaction to it.

Omigod she worked at Hooters. God forbid he actually attracts people up and out of the trenches instead of baby faced ‘liberal privileged’ Ivy Leaguers anxious to find a suitable backside to attach their noses too.

The more and more I hear and see and read about Scott Walker the more I’m liking him. Soft spoken, solid foundational ideas to improve America, not fundamentally change it.

I predict Palin will be won over. Lets just hope Rove sticks with a losing wannabe.

As for Cruz, I still like him. He’s going to make a great Senate Majority leader. His introductory freebie campaign period (before FEC rules kick in) is focusing too negative and is struggling to find something unifying and positive to talk about. I cannot see him making any headway to the nomination and I feel he’s going to damage his political career in attempting but not seriously trying.

He needs to up his game and build an influential coalition around him in the Senate.

If they are complaining about Scott's spokespersons being too good looking, I wonder what they are saying about his Lt. Governor?

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
