Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to offer an alternative in his speech to the U.S. Congress on the ongoing nuclear talks with Iran, a senior U.S. administration official said on Tuesday.
"Simply demanding that Iran completely capitulate is not a plan, nor would any country support us in that position. The prime minister offered no concrete action plan," the official said, speaking on background.
Netanyahu warned Congress against accepting a deal with Iran that President Barack Obama and his administration are deeply invested in negotiating, arguing that the deal would leave Iran with a "breakout time" of a year, which he said was too short.
The senior U.S. official said that the administration was pursuing a deal that "verifiably prevents" Iran from obtaining a weapon, and increases the breakout time "substantially" to a year from the current estimate of two to three months.

“Dear America, thanks for your support over the years. In the past, it may have appeared that Israel took it’s cues from the US. In the future, if need be, we, Israel, will act in our own best interests. If we think Iran is about to go nuclear, we will take care of it ourselves.
Your present administration lacks the balls (except golf balls, they have more than enough of those) to address this issue in a grown-up, world view way. We will do what is best for Israel-we don’t need your permission. It is unfortunate that you are led by such a spineless administration. Good luck with that.”
And I fully expect a “Here, hold my wine and watch this!” moment...but with a smart action to follow.
The headline is unintentionally funny because everytime the Palestinian authority gets money, they spend it on concrete to build tunnels and fortifications.

I’m watching “the White House” lying his @$$ off on FOX right now. “The White House” says that he didn’t watch the speech but did “read the transcript.” Anyone who believes that horse**** from “the White House” is a moron.
I watched the speech and my impression is the repubs sicken me. They took time out from sniffing barrys shorts and made a big scene of support for Israel.
Tomorrow it will be back to normal and almost everyone of them will stick a shiv in Americas and Israels back

The WH pretends our international friends should work out the details of our foreign policy in dealing with such threats. That is a sad excuse for what is actually the WH’s adversarial attitude toward Israel.
