You think it was our fault Japan attacked us?
It was Japan’s choice to be an aggressor and our calling as a free nation to counter them anyway we could. All actions have consequences that need to be considered in the light of history. Can we find a less undesirable response to aggression and irregardless are we prepared to bear the consequences?
FDR instituted economic warfare on the Japanese (which I have no issue with) and then totally failed to prepare for escalation to real warfare.
When you twist someones arm, you had better be ready for more than acquiescence.
