House Speaker John Boehner is expected to move soon -- as early as Wednesday -- to bring up the clean bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security for a vote on the House floor, according to two House GOP sources familiar with leadership discussions.

And Boehner, who is usually getting attacked from conservative groups on such matters, will now get some help from an outside GOP group. The American Action Network is rolling out $400,000 worth of television and radio ads targeting many of the House conservatives who voted against a short-term funding bill to fund DHS, warning them against risking American security.

If true, I'm not surprised. Rove, Kennedy, McCain, and the Bush-bots wanted more illegals in this country back in 2006 - Hell, I remember quite a few governors at the time (including mine - Perry who is a fan of La Raza, who thinks he's running for office) pushing Congress for a guest-worker program to allow the illegals to stay an work.

By the Grace of God, these idiots didn't get their wish, but 9 years later, it may finally happen.

This goes back to 2006, and even before that. This is both parties, and they finally got their man (Obama) in the White House, and their leadership in Congress (Boehner/McConnell) that they needed to push it through.

But in 2006 and 2007 we knew who was pushing amnesty; W and other Republicans plus the Dims. This time, Republican 'leaders' and many candidates last Fall spent months pretending they'd use the power of the purse to defeat Obama's illegal amnesty. Most all of them were lying, they lied for months and months and at several critical stages over those months.

It was a pure, calculated ruse, a series of lies and maneuvers put forth to appear that they were resisting Obama when they had no intention of carrying it through.

At least they were generally above board about it during earlier amnesty pushes.
