The former chiefs of staff to House Speaker John Boehner and Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus are part of a concerted effort to target House conservatives with advertisements aimed at pressuring them to cave to President Barack Obamas executive amnesty and fund it in its entirety through the end of the fiscal year.
An outside group aligned with House GOP leadership will spend $400,000 this week to urge dozens of conservative House Republicans to vote for Department of Homeland Security funding a new and more aggressive phase in the legislative battle among Republicans thats consuming Capitol Hill, Politico wrote about a new effort from American Action Network, a group whose board is home to power players including Boehners ex-chief of staff Barry Jackson and immediate previous RNC chief of staff Mike Shields.
The massive ad buy against Republican members by Boehners and Priebus ex-top aides, pressuring conservatives to drop their strong opposition to Obamas executive amnesty, targets three specific House Republicans: Reps. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) and Jim Jordan (R-OH).
The 30-second spot will run at least 50 times in each district on broadcast, in prime slots Tuesday and Wednesday as the House is expected to take up a DHS funding bill, Politico wrote.

What are you afraid of, Boehner?? Just bring up a clean bill and pass with democrats. You know you really want to!
The Chamber of Commerce weighs in.
Here comes the Treason folks
The Cheap Labor Express wants the amnesty they have paid for.
It’s like King George fighting the colonies... insane!
Maybe Boehner is crazy. His big-pocket donors can bide their time, this makes no sense.
.....none dare call it Treason.
McConnell: we will bury TEA.
Here we go again with, “Get yer a**e* in line!”
The Democrats are losing patience with old John.
They wanted to have this amnesty behind them so Jeb wouldn’t have to deal with it.
We voters in the 7th distict of VA threw a monkey wrench into the plan to pass it last summer when we kicked out the sitting Majority Leader Eric Cantor before he could betray us.
Priebus is on board The Cheap Labor Express as is Paul Ryan. So was Scott Walker until very recently. If his conversion is genuine, I welcome it. His friends from WI haven’t changed their minds.
Scott Walker’s definition for amnesty does not include having illegals pay fines to gain citizenship. He is for a “pathway”.
These politicians play games with words and their meanings.
” The Chamber of Commerce weighs in.”
Drunkin Boner & McConnell have their marching orders, and have been bought & paid for. Why waste money now ?
If the illegal aliens dont return home and apply like everybody else who really IS an immigrant, then it is amnesty.
We either have the rule of law or we dont.
We must elect a President who WILL uphold the rule of law after this one who wont.
Yep, Obama’s masters were inspired when they told him to give this amnesty. The GOPe can only keep amnesty out of the election now by caving to him and alienating over half their voters.
And Dave Brat’s election precipitated the House Freedom Caucus as conservatives united to defend themselves from Boehner.
But what’s unfathomable is that Boehner has at least a 60/40 splt caucus and never gives the minority anything. Only “ a long train of abuses and usurpations”- just like King George behaved.
It’s against all political logic.
and pay them $35,000 to be here ...
Well, at least Rinse and the Weeper are upfront with the war they are waging (through their surrogates) against conservatives.
It’s past time for The Tea Party to start protesting in front of Chamber of Commerce HQs.
Thought you’d get a kick out of this:
‘Matt Fuller @MEPFuller
Dave Brat on DHS: “I’m praying literally at night. ...Mitch McConnell is supposedly a genius on these things. Uh, let me see it, Einstein... Let me see it, Einstein. Please. Let me see it. Let me see your genius, Mitch.”’
I think of Dave Brat as “America’s Congressman”... like the 1980’s Dallas Cowboys.
I bring Cantor’s fate up to my congressman when necessary LOL!
“The plan is for a Republican member to bring up the Senate bill as a “privileged resolution,” which would mean it would get relatively quick vote on the House floor. Sources say leaders are still working out the timing, and who would offer the resolution to begin the process.”
Insane.
NO@!
This is a good point. Why isn’t RNC running ads against Dem senators in red or purple states on this issue?
